A first class team: Moving can be exciting but it is always a stressful experience. A few weeks ago we relocated the All Habs war room to a shiny new location. Packing on trade deadline day was interesting but fortunately Pierre Gauthier cooperated with a less-than-expected number of transactions.

On the day itself, I was greeted by three professionals from Westmount Moving who are indeed at the top of their game. Daniel, Allen and Thomas ("Punch") were polite, personable, careful and just three of the nicest fellows with which I've had the pleasure spending a day. They offered sound advice and were full of good humour to reduce the stress of a chaotic day.

Jennifer's title should be moving consultant extraordinaire. She paid attention to every detail, even remembering things I didn't and was very accommodating when changes occurred to the initial plan. Jennifer even dropped by mid-day to bring the team hot chocolate.

I know what you're thinking. This is one of those paid endorsements. Not at all. I am simply expressing my gratitude for a job well done, and recognizing superb customer service.

As you know, Friday was NOT the best day to move from Montreal to Ottawa because of the snow storm. Despite the storm the crew helped to make everything go smoothly. The guys were very professional and extremely easy to work with.

I just used Westmount Moving for a fairly complex move and had outstanding service from beginning to end. The customer service at the front end was personalized and very responsive. On the day of the move, the crew of 3 arrived in advance of the scheduled time. They were friendly, efficient, professional and extremely conscientious. The furniture was properly secured and and wrapped to ensure that it was not damaged in transit, and they showed a great deal of care with delicate pieces. On the receiving end, they made sure that furniture was properly reassembled and placed where we wanted it. Not a single item was damaged, and the place was left spotless. I could not have been more satisfied with my experience.

I hired Westmount Movers when we bought a big house in Trois Rivieres and had to move out of an apartment in Montreal. I had contacted a lot of companies,but in the end I went with Westmount Movers because of all the agents, the one from the Westmount Movers was the best. We were able to settle on a date for the move easily and the agent was very helpful every time I had questions. The move was a lot less stressful than what I was used to before. On the day of the move the crew showed up on time,enthusiastic and extremely fast since we were renting an apartment on 9th floor and we were at the end of a very long corridor! Upon arriving at the destination,the crew unloaded and placed everything in our house exactly where I wanted. At the end of the day we were tired but very happy! I will definitely recommend the company to everyone I know that plans on moving. Keep up the good work!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the service we received on our move. I was very nervous because we had had a difficult time selling our house and were pretty stressed out overall. Laura was very reassuring on the phone, allowed me to ask as many questions as I wanted, and came to do the estimate right away. The moving day was the proof. Their was one point during the end of the day where we got to the back of the shed, and I realized we had not packed, and it was going to take another couple of hours. This saved us alot of money, and kept me sane for the rest of the day !

Great, great experience. My movers arrived early first thing in the morning. Very professional, friendly and helpful - I was extremely stressed about moving and not having packed properly and they ensured me that they would take care of everything. They were efficient and quick. I was informed by my landlord last minute I wouldn't get the keys to my new place until a few hours later than expected - the movers were great about it, said not to worry and arrived prior to the expected time. They put together my furniture as well that I had taken apart and were really good about it. Also asked me where I wanted stuff put when placing it in my new place.

The dispatchers and team at Westmount were also EXTREMELY great and helpful! I booked my time for a monday the second last day of the month, but found out over the weekend I couldn't move until Tuesday - the last day of the month and typically the busiest. I contacted the team and left messages over the weekend and was promptly replied to the next day and ensured they would try to fit me in and rearrange for the following day - a day I couldn't book an other company - and with no penalty.

Highly recommend for any size job!

The "dust" has begun to settle and I wanted you to know how wonderful our move was. Robert Pukalo is simply a saint !!! As you know we had some very interesting, heavy yet delicately precious antique articles along with regular household things to relocate.
