Westmount Moving to Lace Up against Mighty Yucks!
Westmount Moving will be playing the CJAD/CHOM/Virgin Radio Mighty Yucks on Saturday March 6th to raise funds for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Fund.
This is the 7th annual match up and Joe Gagnon, President of Westmount Moving has raised the bar by offering 2 Habs tickets and $150 spending money to the person who raises the most money!
We are looking forward to making this year’s fundraiser for the Children’s Hospital a huge success!

Christmas Party & Staff Awards
Westmount Moving hosted a staff Christmas Party on December 11th at the Olde Orchard Pub in Montreal.
There were well over 60 people in attendance – a record year! Owners Joe Gagnon, Larry Smith and Sheri Doyle were proud to announce that John Clarkson, Warehouse Manager won our 2009 Award of Excellence in Operations, while Jennifer McNaughton, Manager Corporate Development won the award for Excellence in Administration. Westmount Moving Opens Office in Waterloo Ontario!
Westmount Moving is now offering local, long distance, international and office moving in Waterloo, Ontario!
Westmount Moving has expanded and opened a moving company in the Kitchener-Waterloo area, just one hour west of Toronto.
Areas served include Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, North Dumfries, Wellesley, Wilmot and Woolwich.
Westmount Moving in Waterloo will offer the same excellent moving services as the Montreal head office, and increase Westmount Moving’s ability to provide full service moves from anywhere in Canada as well as cross-border moving.

Westmount’s employees quarterly quality award winners were announced, which are decided by a combination of three factors:
1) their own personal quality scores
2) on time performance
3) overall attitude.

Moving Forward with Confidence
On Wednesday September 16th we held an open house with the theme “Moving Forward with Confidence.”
We had as guest speakers the presidents of Montreal’s three professional sports franchises:

- Larry Smith – Alouettes
The event was broadcast live on the Rick Peterson show on CJAD and hosted by Andrew Carter – CJAD morning man.
