Westmount Moving raised over $3000 for the cause. Many thanks to the players and our supporters who came out and cheered us on. This game is an annual tradition and a chance to give back to the Montreal community that we are so grateful to be part of.

The event also saw Westmount Moving win first place in the 2011 Outstanding Agent Sales Performance award for both moves within Canada and moves to and from the United States.

We believe the content taught at the conference is important in order for our moving consultants to properly explain the moving process to our customers to ensure that there are no surprises. Establishing clear expectations regarding a move is critical, particularly relating to long distance moving. Our philosophy is simple: ensure that our customers know exactly what to expect, both in terms of price and service so there are no surprises during a move. The conference mixed business with some fun networking opportunities and also included a key note session by Don Hutson, a nationally recognized business speaker.

Alain will tour the home to verify if the floors, banisters and furniture are properly protected, whether the crews are in full uniform and whether the move is being conducted in a way to ensure the property (walls, floors, lawns) will not be damaged.

We believe it is important to see moves in action to ensure that each move is up to our B.E.S.T. Move quality standards. The visits also provide our customers with the opportunity to discuss how they feel the move is going, which is very important feedback. Our crews are also given helpful tips to ensure a damage free move.

It is important to us that the move our customers receive exceeds their expectations – we believe these visits help us to deliver on our promises.

We are proud to hold the top spot for sales for the month for both moves within Canada and cross-border. We achieve success by providing quality services and commit to working hard in 2012 to continue this quality focus.

Matt has over 8 years experience as an Account and Project Manager at Kings Transfer Van Lines and is a licensed Real Estate Broker. He was in the top ten with respect to domestic long distance sales on a national level within his previous van line.

Matt brings with him a wealth of experience in account and project management with a solid track record in transportation and logistics.

Alain is a highly driven and motivated individual who, as a serving member of the Canadian Forces for over 9 years, was responsible for the training and development of soldiers, in addition to policy design, implementation and monitoring of quality standards. With several years working in the financial sector, Alain earned a solid reputation as being highly customer service orientated. Having returned to school to earn his finance degree with honors at the John Molson School of Business, Alain strongly believes that the development of professional competence is the foundation by which companies can better innovate and serve their clients.

He aspires to achieve a master’s degree at Westmount Moving, and is enthusiastic in upholding their B.E.S.T. Move quality standards, and to further explore and develop the company’s quality and operational opportunities.
