Lower Canada College High School Food Drive

By: Montreal Movers @ 7:06 pm

As part of our ongoing commitment to the community, we donated boxes to be used in a food drive by Lower Canada College High School.

I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you for your donation of the boxes to LCCHS. Rob dropped the boxes off at the house and I brought them to the school. The staff that organizes the can food drive was thrilled by your donation. Every year it becomes more and more difficult to collect boxes and food. The boxes will play a vital role in the distribution of nonperishable food to needy families in the city of Lasalle in the next couple of weeks. I can’t express to you through this e-mail how humbling this whole process is. To see the smile on peoples faces for a simple box of canned food and a frozen turkey is unforgettable. It keeps me grounded and thankful for what I have.

Once again thank you and Happy Holiday

Share The Warmth Food Drive

By: Montreal Movers @ 10:16 pm

We are pleased to be launching our annual food drive next week in collaboration with Share the warmth.

Here’s the plan:

Our sales team does numerous in home estimates on a daily basis. For the next 7 weeks, they will go to the home estimate with an empty Westmount Moving carton. We will ask the client to place any non-perishable food items that they do not want to move into the box and our movers will bring it back to our depot for a final delivery to Share the warmth.

We are also offering our warehouse to anyone in the area that would like to drop off any non-perishable food items at Westmount Moving for final delivery to share the warmth.

The Drive will begin next Monday with the delivery to share the warmth on Monday January 4th.

We would love to be able to fill an entire moving truck with food at a time when it’s most desperately needed (after the holidays).
